Hello Robert

Sorry for taking so long to answer, well, now I can answer two messages.

It's great that you ported it to Linux. I don't use Linux, so this was
not possible for me. I tried to use a portable code, I hope it did not
take too much time.

My full name is Carlos GarcĂa, you can contact me at this address.

I have not contacted Paul, maybe I've not been very polite.
If you download the project, Paul has put the following comment (in file Main.h)
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
//      Main.h
//      Project Template
// You may use this code however you wish, but if you do, please credit me
and
// provide a link to my website in a readme file or similar
//      Downloaded from: www.paulsprojects.net
//      Created:        8th August 2002
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

So I think it's OK to use it.

You asked me for test data, I use the maps from the original game. It
has worked with all the maps that I have tested (keeping in mind the
bugs and the things that are not implemented).
It also works with the multiplayer downloaded maps that I have. So I
think that it's possible to use any downloaded map. But most of them
use game textures.

Cheers

 Carlos

Hi Carlos,

I have now got your Quake 3 BSP plugin compiling under Linux, and am
poised to merge it. There are a few loose ends though.

First loose end is names of authors - I use the authors full name when
checking in changes to the OSG, for both providing due credit, and to
enable me to track down the author for any future querries about it.

Second loose end is the licensing, I see that you ported
www.paulsprojects.net Q3BSP code across to the OSG. I can't spot any
formal licensing information on the original project. It looks like
the original author would certainly be open to licensing it as open
source, but there haven't spotted anything I can use as notification
of licesning on these files. Did you contact the original author at
all?

Robert.
