I am new to the list and to OSG (Programing), I hope to not have to
many dumb questions :)
I have the same error on both the binary precompiled version and the
source after being compiled when using Producer:
Producer: VisualChooser. the requested visual is not available, trying
to relax...
... couple of errors like that ....
and then
Producer: VisualChooser: unable to setup a valid visual with WGL
extensions, swithcing to compatibility mode
and then nothing
any pointer?

Hi,
I have seen this on some older machines I tried to install my program on.
The Rage 128 is quite an old card, and I pretty much guess that you will
only be able to use the more simple OSG apps that don´t use any wgl
extensions.
As I see that you don´t use a laptop I would say that you will save lots
of time (and thus money) if you buy a new card. Take a nvidia card.
