I was having some trouble getting producer to run, I will go back and look more at that.

Thanks,

Hi John,

I've just checked in examples in Producer for integrating it with Qt3 (amongst others).  The controls for modifying the camera's view is exposed in the main part of the code.  You'll need to update Producer and build it to use the example.   If it is what you want, please join Producer-users to continue discussing it.

I split those classes from osgsimpleviewerqt3.cpp into different header and .cpp files. Then I added a lot of things to graphicswindowqt, which are from the constructor of qosgwidget (this was necessary to display the 3D nodes), and added the request redraw functions and others. I was having a similar problem when I was using qosgwidget with control, remember, but now it is not allowing me any movement control. Before it was just not stopping the camera before it went to the center of the scene. I'm not sure what to do now. If anybody has any thoughts let me know, please.

Thanks,

-John

Hi John,

I developed osgsipleviewerqt3 under linux and it works just fine, the trackball manipulator it sets up work just as it does in osgviewer.

What mods did you make to osgsimpleviewerQT3?

Robert.

I hacked the osgsimpleviewerqt3 to the point of displaying the right
stuff, by using parts from the qosgwidget, but now I am not getting any
form of camera manipulation, anybody know of any issues with
cameramanipulators using osgsimpleviewerqt3 with linux?

Thanks,
-John

Hi John,

Could you try the osgsimpleviewerGLUT and Producer versions?

They all have the same basic core, the only difference is the graphics
window set up and event handling.

Robert.
