Sorry for bringing this subject back, but I was out of town for since Friday.
The problem was caused by my wrapper deleting all states on a stateset before
wrapping it. What cued me in was that reproducing the same graph with the same
calls in an existing example worked. I think what I'll do from now on is to
output the scene graph as an .osg file before wrapping it and after. If the two
files aren't almost identical (down to the identifiers) I'll at least know
something's wrong in the wrapping.
Thanks for your help, I learned a lot about the OSG internals while debugging
this (even though OSG wasn't to blame).
