If you under Windows simply bring up the CMakeSetup app and set the BUILD_OSG_EXAMPLES to ON, then generate the build system. While CMake does add an extra step it does add a lot of power, and properly supports VS6, 7 and 8, as well as all the rest of the platforms that we support. Robert.
