osgwindows works fine on my system here, the second window stays
interactive as it should.

Could you run osgwindows on other machines and see what happens.

Also try moving the windows so they don't overlap, see if this problem
is just a window manager bug of some kind.

I ran across a display bug and was able to reproduce it with the
'osgwindows' example.
I run the example and close the first window.
A set of randomly placed/length scan lines show up on the left edge of
the second window.

Any idea what could cause this?
