hello world! :) my name is Simone Tripodi, I am italian and I am currently working as Software Engineer in the Swiss RnD team of Adobe. And just joined the OSGi Alliance.
I have been working on Java technologies since 2004 either as developer in small italian companies and as consultant for EU startups such as Joost[1] and Goom Radio[2]. My background is in Computer Science and I have been mainly a Java developer, and I contributed to some open-source projects; I worked on databases, GIS, Earth Observation, XML and their integration with the Web. Since 2009 I have been involved in various projects[3] of the Apache Software Foundation, which I represent as a proud and enthusiast member, contributing in various forms, from committing code to helping communities on joining the ASF and, in few cases, founding new projects. I am very much glad to have the opportunity to join this working group, even if I don't manage yet OSGi as an expert I hope my enthusiasm about that technology will soon fill my lacks, and start contributing in a, hopefully, positive way.
