So, I only implied that push "whatever" from the client to a bundle managing the OSGi framework, since such bundle is not OSGi agnostic. Nothing more was really implied. Now, the funkier way to deal with a lot of this; 1. Stick all the logic that has been discussed here into the management bundle. 2. The management client is RCP based. 3. The management bundle can 'signal' what views/editors the RCP should install to manage the type of 'Installable'. Such view/editor can indeed use OSGi specific protocols and/or more specific info to the user. Just a thought... ;o) Cheers -- Niclas Hedhman, Software Developer I live here; http://tinyurl.com/2qq9er I work here; http://tinyurl.com/2ymelc I relax here; http://tinyurl.com/2cgsug _______________________________________________ OSGi Developer Mail List [email protected] http://www2.osgi.org/mailman/listinfo/osgi-dev
