Hi all,

section 114.11 of the 4.1 compendium spec describes the events that should be sent when lifecycle changes for a deploymentpackage take place. Unlike, for example, events that are sent for bundle lifecycle changes these deploymentadmin events do not contain a reference to the concerned deploymentpackage or any additional information like the version of the package. The spec just says a name and sometimes a successful boolean have to be included. I think it would make sense to have extra information in the events even for something trivial as being able to produce meaningful logging output (without depending on the deploymentadmin to be able to get the information manually).

Would it make sense to have this included in the specification or is there a rationale for not doing so?

friendly,
Christian van Spaandonk
