Islamabad, March 14, IRNA
Pakistan-Russia-Plot
Pakistan's intelligence agencies have unearthed a plot by a Chechen
militant group to kidnap and execute a senior Russian diplomat and his
family in Pakistan.

Daily Times reported in its Monday issue that this was stated in reports
submitted by intelligence agencies to the Interior Ministry.

They said that Chechen military group, Majlis-al-Shura Al-Askari-e
Mujahideen Al-Shishan had planned to carry out the attack in March and
it had contacted a Saudi and a woman to carry out the act, the newspaper
added.

Earlier, media reports had suggested that some embassies in Islamabad
had received threats on telephone.
