Three British men arrested at Heathrow after being turned back by US
authorities 
Released 


July 12 


A relative of one of the July 7 bombing suspects arrested after raids in
Leeds 
Released without charge on July 22 after being questioned at Paddington
Green police station 


After July 21 attacks 


The four failed attempts to bomb London led to new lines of inquiry. Unless
otherwise stated, all were arrested under the Terrorism Act 2000 - on
suspicion of the commission, instigation or preparation of acts of terrorism

A man arrested at a home in Stockwell, south London 
Released without charge 


A man arrested in the Stockwell area 
Still in custody 


Four men arrested in Stoke-on Trent after reports that they were behaving
suspiciously 
Released without charge 


A man arrested at Snow Hill station in Birmingham on suspicion of terrorist
offences 
Released the next day without charge 


July 23 


A man arrested in the Tulse Hill area, south London 
Released without charge

A man arrested in the New Southgate area, north London

Yasin Hassan Omar arrested at an address in Hay Mills in Birmingham

Shortly afterwards, three men arrested in Washwood Heath, Birmingham

Three women arrested in Stockwell on suspicion of harbouring offenders 
Two arrested on July 29 under the Terrorism Act, still in custody. The third
bailed to return to a central London police station in September, pending
further inquiries 


July 28 


Six men arrested at an address in the Tooting area and three arrested at
another address in Tooting, south-west London 
Eight released without charge, one being held in connection with alleged
immigration offences 


July 29 


A man arrested in Kennington on suspicion of harbouring an offender 
Still in custody 


A man arrested in Tavistock Crescent, Notting Hill, and two arrested from a
flat in Peabody Buildings, Dalgarno Gardens, north Kensington. One has
identified himself to police as Muktar Said-Ibrahim. The other has said his
name is Ramzi Muhammad 
Still in custody 


Hussain Osman detained in Rome. Brother Remzi arrested
Police seeking extradition 


Two women briefly arrested on the main concourse at Liverpool Street rail
station 
Released without charge 


July 31 


Search warrants executed at two addresses in Sussex - six men and a woman
arrested at one address. Osman's brother Fati arrested
