India's anti-terror squad seizes arms
BOMBAY, May 10 (UPI) -- An anti-terrorist squad seized a huge cache of
explosives and weapons from suspected Islamic militants in a town west
of Bombay, local reports said Wednesday.

The raid, which lasted several hours, took place Tuesday at an
undisclosed location in the historical town of Aurangabad, about 250
miles west of Bombay, India's business capital, NDTV reported.

More than 60 lbs of RDX, the material used for making high-impact bombs,
10 AK-47 rifles, 40 magazines and 2,000 rounds of live ammunition were
recovered.

One person was arrested and two others held for further questioning.
They are believed to be part of the Lashkar-e-Toiba, or Soldiers of the
Pure, a militant group based in Pakistan fighting against Indian control
in Kashmir.

Lashkar-e-Toiba has been blamed for bomb attacks last October in the
Indian capital New Delhi, which killed more than 60 people.
