There were reports of anti-terror officers being deployed in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Mr Stephenson (the deputy commissioner of the Metropolitan police) said a number of addresses were being searched. Buildings in Walthamstow, East London, and in High Wycombe, were among those cordoned off by police tape and guarded by uniformed officers.
