posted: September 20, 2006 Washington, Sept. 20, (BNA) Spokesman of US Forces in Iraq, Major General William Caldwell, revealed that attacks against US troops have been intensified after Al Qaeda militants in Iraq threatened to zero in their operations on US troops there. Radio SAWA reported on Caldwell as saying that both Iraqi and US forces predict violence to flare up during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, adding that attacks targeting US forces are mainly carried out by unmanned booby-trapped cars or suicide car bombs.
