Don't Ask Congressmen 11:05 Dec 13, '06 / 22 Kislev 5767 (IsraelNN.com) Several Congressman do not know what sect is in the Al Qaeda terrorist organization and cannot define Hizbullah, according to a Congressional Quarterly article reported in the British newspaper The Guardian. Democratic Congressman Silvestro Reyes, who recently was appointed to chair the House of Representative Intelligence Committee, did not know if the Sunni-based Al Qaeda represented Shi'ite or Sunni Muslims and incorrectly guessed that its leader, Osama Bin laden, is a Shi'ite. Two Republican committee members could not answer basic questions concerning Islam and the Middle East.
