Saudi firms banned form recruiting Posted: Sunday, December 24, 2006 Riyadh As many as 129 Saudi firms were banned from recruitment for two years following their failure to attain the prescribed Saudisation levels, a report said. The decision was taken by Saudi Arabia's Labour Minister Ghazi Al Gosaibi, said the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). The companies also failed to register their Saudi workers in the General Organisation of Social Insurance, even though they have over 100 employees, it said.
