New Direction <http://www.targetrichenvironment.net/?p=812> for America:
Congressman Employs CAIR Representative

I accidentally found this from March (link
<http://www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/2747> ), but it's
interesting to note that Soros-Backed Pennsylvania Congressman Joe Sestak
has apparently hired a CAIR employee to work for him.

Yes, that's right, the guy who replaced anti-terror Rep Curt Weldon (link
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curt_Weldon> ) gave a speech at a CAIR-Philly
event (link
<http://sestak.house.gov/list/press/pa07_sestak/4_7_2007_CAIR_Remarks.shtml>
). As his website stated, 250 of his constituents were there. Fair enough,
considering that probably almost 80% of them don't approve of suicide
bombings against innocent civilians. So only maybe 50 or so would approve of
them. But his remarks from the event are included, here's one passage I
found to be of interest:

I have therefore always been struck with America's conflicted relationship
with the Islamic world. Take Morocco: the first country to recognize
America after our Declaration of Independence, it was also the first country
to be at war with the United States. The attraction to the wonder of Islam
is for its ability to transcend both culture and destruction to illuminate
the rest of the world with the brightness of its goodness. Islam is, to
steal a phrase, an "ornament of the world" which others copy or place upon
their homegrown trees.

Gag. The Democrats' New Direction for America: Dhimmitude.
