35 al Qaeda Recruiters Rounded up in Morocco http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/archives/193193.php Morocco's official news agency, the Maghreb Arabe Press, reports that 35 al Qaeda recruiters have been rounded up. Most of the recruits were sent to Iraq, with three of them joining the North African branch of al Qaeda. The scary part? As I write this Morocco's internet cafes are full of three groups of people. One group downloading porn, the other group downloading terrorist videos, and the third group downloading both. It's the last group I'd be most worried about. MAP <http://www.map.ma/eng/sections/box1/morocco_dismantles_r/view> : Security services have recently dismantled a terrorist network specialized in the recruitment of fighters for the Al-Qaeda branches in Iraq and Algeria, police said on Wednesday. The operation resulted in the arrest of around 35 people in several cities across the country, according to the same source. The group has recruited and sent about thirty candidates to carry out suicide operations in Iraq, and three fighters to Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), former Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat (GSPC), according to the same source. The network's members were also planning to carry out terrorist attacks in the Kingdom.
