Terror suspect enters guilty plea in NC case By TOM BREEN, Associated Press - 1 hour ago RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - A North Carolina man who was charged along with his father and brother has pleaded guilty to being part of a terrorist conspiracy. The U.S. attorney's office said Tuesday that 22-year-old Zakariya "Zak" Boyd pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists. He faces up to 15 years in prison. Boyd, his father, brother and more than a half-dozen other men were arrested nearly two years ago and accused of plotting to supply money, training and other services to support terrorism. Boyd's father, Daniel Boyd, pleaded guilty in February to charges stemming from the case. His brother and the other men who were arrested are scheduled to go on trial in September.
