  Good morning friends.

These are exciting times in the OS network!
Congratulations, Gabriela! Thank you, Chris and Andrew
for your recent gifts to community. ...so exciting to
see the China/Hong Kong tour you've organized with
Harrison, Mark. It goes on and on.

Great stuff!

I'm pleased to provide a quick update about Open Space
evolutions in Haiti.

*115 employees of Ireland-based Concern Worldwide in
three regions of Haiti begin Beyond Borders' 6-month
Circles of Change training. Fremy Cesar is
coordinating this training. This will result in
hundreds of others being trained in the dozens of
schools, communities and projects where Concern
Worldwide works. Here's a 3 minute video about the two
methods--Reflection Circles and Open Space--that are
part of the 6-month training:

* Beyond Borders entered into an 18 month partnership
with Save the Children, allowing our Schools Alive!
team (led by Ulrick Denis) to reach out to school
teachers in five rural communities in the Southeast
department of Haiti, offering networking opportunities
and in-service training in at least 30 schools of 5
rural communities. Convening teachers and
administrators in OS and responding to what emerges is
the strategy of this initiative.

*23 teachers and community organizers working in the
desperately poor and violence ridden, Cite Soleil
completed this past weekend an intensive three day
seminar on the Open Space (led by Fremy Cesar) toward
improving their schools, classrooms, and
organizations.

How fortunate I feel to be a part of this thriving OS
community!
