I once lived with a friend who had a Saint Bernard. I am quite convinced that the liquidy matter that flowed like the Hudson River from his jowls would also do just fine.
Getting a dog like this might be a way of keeping the posters up AND finding a caring canine companion! bo Rhett Hudson/Chris Weaver <rhett&ch...@main.nc.us>@LISTSERV.BOISESTATE.EDU> on 07/04/2000 08:17:22 AM Please respond to OSLIST <osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu> Sent by: OSLIST <osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu> To: osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu cc: Subject: Re: Elephantine Post-Its? Hi Jeff. I considered using the giant post-its, but was repelled by the cost. Shortly afterward, I found an outstanding low-cost alternative: snot. With proper attention to diet, it can hold even heavy posters for up to a week, and it comes off even cheaply-painted walls with a cotton ball soaked in Dristan. Of course, it was hard at first to produce enough of it, and, being temperamentally shy, I couldn't bring myself to ask the Open Space participants to supply their own. I had moderate success by drinking a half-gallon carton of buttermilk the afternoon before the event and then holding my face in the vaccuum outlet tube for the belt sander at the local high school woodshop for a half an hour (with breaks for normal breathing). But it wasn't until I faced the challenge of a 200-person Open Space that I made a truly remarkable discovery: Elephantine snot! It is readily available for free at most any zoo. Just enter by night dressed in dark clothes, with a large tub of peanut butter and a standard shop-vac wired to a car battery. Hope this helps. -Chris (ps...don't get me wrong, I have found this conversation most helpful!) ---------- >From: Michelle Cooper <coop...@interlynx.net> >To: osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu >Subject: Re: Elephantine Post-Its? >Date: Sun, Jul 2, 2000, 7:49 PM > > Hi Jeff; > We have used the giant post-its in the very situation that you describe...no > masking tape allowed.
