My response does not pertain to a building per se, but I certainly have noticed that living in a cul-de-sac, as I do, approximates Open Space. Six families frequently have get togethers in the middle of the cul-de-sac using any excuse whatsover (birthdays, holidays, etc.) Doesn't a cul-de-sac approximate an African village?
