Hello Nino :

some comments on some of your remarks.

not fully agreed (but almost):
paradigm shift (in individuals) sometimes occurs in a few seconds - if
appropriatly triggered (e.g. falling in love :-)

You are right. Italian sociologist Alberony studied "metanoia" in hi book
"Innamoramento i Amore". I will come back to his ideas in the future.gsu

not agreed! (at least to some aspects :-)

I think it can be dangerous to think that way. Because no human beeing
is able to "always behave ethically". Therefore, anyone who tries to do
so will run aground.

Therefore it is absolutely necessary to behave incongruently for
parents! Because thus they teach their children: It is ok not to be
perfect. (But, of course, their goal should be to minimize their own
ambiguity. So I would say, double binds should be avoided - but one
should'n t take this for absolute.)

You are right; my way: when there is incongruences, acknowledge
and disccuss them. Never cover them.

is it really so difficult?

Yes, I think it is really difficult. I have exoeriences were it was
difficult and
time consuming to changr some of my own MM (that education had
interiorized in me) and would not allow me to do things I wanted, or the
contrary. And the some to help students bypasse old MM. To chnage that implies
persistance and a lot of tries... I was thinking more of this cases then of
the
ones you presented.

In other words how can we facilitate personal,

By lowering the huge impact and the immens individual risk which is
associated by change. By giving people the possibility "to play with"
their future. To re-allow them to apply fantasy to their own careers/
outcome.

Like yout suggestion. Would like to have others.

Warm Regards
