Hi Thomas, first mindmapping comes to my mind. I like the concept very much. Actually I rarely meet people being enthuastic about the mindmapped protocols. I wonder why. I read a book about visual langauge. The author developed grammar and so on: Robert E. Horn, Visual Language. Global Communication for the 21 st Century. Matthias zur Bonsen has got an example about future planning of an insurance company on his website www.all.in-one-spirit.de. Recently I talked to a few software freaks. They announced a software which analyses large bodies of text in major languages and is to find the essentials among the blabla. On www.readware.de you can downlaod a trial software. I didn´t try it yet.

Yesterday I participated i a one-day course of Group Graphics (a simple way of drawing and picking keewords to summarize an discussion/meeting or so). Facinating, I can see many situations where it could be useful to me. I will use it next week in the summary of a World-café-style meeting i will facilitate. I'm interested in experiences, using different ways of making the results of OST visual during the meeting. Maybe some of you use Graphics or similair ways instead of picking coffee cups (what Harisson sometimes recommends if you like to look busy). Sometimes when I find myself with a complex theme, I draw a triangle to show to the gathered participants. At each apex of the triangle is an important aspect of the theme. Then I explain that we are interested in the issues and opportunities that arise somewhere in this triangle. Each person might choose to emphasize one aspect more than the others, but there is some coherence.
