Hi, Gil, great to hear from you again. Re: your logistical, I think that both Ralph's and Winston's ideas are worth exploring with your client. And if he is adamant that the meeting must be onsite and the group which registers is indeed too large, I think that your plan will work. Harrison has done some OS, especially with Boeing Airplane Co., where the group met in more than one physical location.
As far as the idea of back-up facilitators--this probably works if they understand that they are to hold space, not to do "classic" facilitation and intervention. Good luck on this undertaking--it has the possibility of making a transition in leadership style very real, instead of a pro forma announcement that things will be different.
