Ralph--

Seems to me that I operate in two different arenas. In one, I am trying to
understand what I am doing and why it does or does not work, learning and, I
hope, growing. In this arena, clear distinctions and dialogue with
colleagues with a different or similar viewpoint are valuable resources.

Working with a client, I find that very few are interested in the conceptual
or philosophical underpinnings of the work we do together, or in whether it
is easy or hard for me to do my part. The client is interested in the
experience we share and its results in the organization.

Each of the points of view you describe are helpful to me, but in different
areas of my experience.

You may be space-y, but that is another conversation.

Joelle
