My experience has been similar to Harrison's and Larry's. I also think there is some real benefit to the incidental conversations that occur at the main computer bank. One of the neatest OST stories related by the VP of our organization was the time he was typing in his discussion summary and engaged in a discussion with a guy from housekeeping - he learned all sorts of inside stuff that he otherwise never would have known. He loved it because the housekeeper had no idea who he was - so there was no "editing" whatsoever. Prior to that point, he'd felt that his presence coloured the conversation in the groups he'd joined. I think of the computer bank as a "butterfly" opportunity.
