Doug wites: There is something that gets us excited, that makes us want to do this work. What is it? What is the soul and spirit of OST?
That is a question that entices me more than what the "message" is ... so here goes. The soul and spirit of OST is the engendering, or fostering, or enabling (something more than facilitating and less than creating) of self-organization and community. Given a reason to be together, they do the rest. My sense is that a big part of what moves many of us to do this work is the deep thrill of experiencing that "emergence"...
