I think Meg Wheatley promotes something called "Calling the Circle" (book
by the same name by a friend of hers, Christina Baldwin). I read it some
time ago and, net net, it feels like O/S less: plenary only, too much
intervention by the "leader", no breakouts, not scalable. Other than that,
cool for small groups, kind of a hopped up talking stick process...
I sent an e-mail to her (MW) site when I read it, asking why they did not
promote O/S and they kind of said they did, as well, but I can recall no
reference to it in her latest book "Turning to One Another" (which IMO is a
bit of a "lightweight" after some of the amazing and profound stuff she has
written...)
