Hi,

interesting thread for me, especially because

a) "intermittend-consultancy-interventions" seem to be very
"homeopathic-systemic" to me.
The system follows its usual patterns, gets out of equlibrium until it enters
an "urgent situation", then takes a remedy with little substance - therefore
never toxic - but in high potency which brings the system back near to its
ideal track/equilibrium/potencials. Then the system continues along its
(changed) routines for a while, then the next high potency homeopathic
intervention and so on, spiraling towards its future.
Only that even the diagnistics and the selection of remedies is done by itself

b) "intermittend-consultancy" becomes more and more prominent in modern
development cooperation, which is my main client-system

You know, I love strong metaphors, so I copied all your contributions into one
wordfile,
saved it in the neighbourhood of the files "HOs classic OST", "1day OST", "2day
OST", "very short OST"
and called it

ZEBRA-OST

not bad, sounds african ;-)

Doug--

I received the client's pre-conference packet today, and it looks really
good. The tone is better than some of the earlier messages! And they did
something I really liked--they included a one-page description of each
program in the organization, and another page with brief introductions of
each staff member and an attractive, casual, group photo.

Best of luck on your project--the topic sorely needs discussion!
