Just a note to the list to say that that Michael Herman and I will be offering our two day OST training and practice workshop in Vancouver on September 23-24. It's been great having Michael on Bowen this summer. Lots of fresh think has emerged around OST and how it supports - and is supported by - organizations and communities. I've been thinking a lot about how we contextualize OST as ongoing practice within organizations and communities, by supporting the practices that are already in place and linking structure, and smart planning to care and nurturing of people and process.
Anyway, we'll be sharing some of the stuff we've been kicking around at the workshop, which builds on Michael's book, The Inviting Organization, and gets people engaged with the practice of Open Space from the perspective of both the facilitator and the manager/citizen/human being.
