Gerard, I asked one of my sisters who is working with environmental issues, with socalled LCA or Life Cycle Analysis. Perhaps you can find something if you search on "LCA" on the UNsite for environmental products www.unep.org , or try the link http://www.unepie.org/pc/pc/tools/lca.htm Your question makes me curious.
