Zelle,

What a great story of group collaboration having concrete effects! From
what I can tell by reading the story on your website, the main difference in
the process you went through and an urban design charrette is that in a
charrette, the designers come ON SITE, stay for 7-10 days, and do their
design work in an open studio where people can stop by, see the work in
progress, and ask questions or make suggestions along the way.

Sincerely,
Jennifer Hurley
