Thanks so much for this beautiful story of connecting, Peggy - this has warmed my soul on this cold, wet and wintery Australian morning and inspired my desire to keep spreading the good news about the OS global community and the Practice of Peace - my sense of this community is that we have created a 'rich nutrient environment' in which to experience a new paradigm - a vision and enactment of how we can 'be' with each other and seek to address the needs of a world in transition.

Friends, Below is a request from Prosper Ndabishuriye of Burundi. Those who came to the Practice of Peace Conference (PoP) at the Whidbey Institute in November met Prosper and heard about the remarkable work he is doing with young people in rebuilding houses through Jeunesse en Reconstruction du Monde en Destruction (JRMD) (Youth in Reconstruction of the World in Destruction). You can read more about the organziation at <http://www.netministries.org/ministries/cm02806/>http://www.netministries.org/ministries/cm02806/. One outgrowth of PoP is a trip that Mike Seymour is taking to Burundi to support this work.
