Douglas, What a wonderful question! I can relate to this question so closely as someone who feels that OS changed her life...Truly, I experienced my own paradigm shift through OS...I've always felt that it is not only a powerful tool/method but it is life style, perspective, philosophy.
Living in open space means to me... Taking responsibility of my own life, and making it happen! Seriously empowering! Enormous sense of possibility... Open space in my mind. Connecting to what has deeper meaning... Letting go of control and surrendering to the 'now'. Enjoying the stillness and silence as well as action and chaos. Understanding that there is a natural way of creation and production underlying the seeming chaos and confusion. Hmm, being able to be still in chaos. More peace. More time (less time consciousness) Thank you for this question. Makes me appreciate having received the gift of OS once again... filiz every day is a good day -----Original Message----- From: OSLIST [mailto:osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu] On Behalf Of Douglas D. Hi-- There has been over the years and across the continents a thread to many of our conversations here about living in open space. A new year is a good time to examine our lives anew. What does living in open space mean to you? How do you bring it to your daily life? :-Doug.
