That the annual global conference of a profession or other mega-events need Fringes, and open space is the original Fringe that gets people networking to their hearts and minds content. Its not official yet but we hope to have got a breakthrough where a conventional annual conference organiser of 3000 members has decided they want a Fringe track. Don't know if that conversion has happened before (if so why dint it become a fashion) . Anyhow would like to take the case and put it in front of other big conference organisers if anyone else would.
