Playback Theatre companies on five continents, in widely diverse settings and communities, will be performing personal stories of "Acts of Kindness". This global event aligns two movements - Playback Theatre, with its hundreds of companies worldwide, and groups focused on promoting and celebrating actions based on kindness. Playback Theatre invites personal stories, told in community, and honors the storytellers through enacting their experiences. These enactments have promoted compassion and understanding in challenging arenas around the world. Groups in conflict and people divided by race, class or caste have found new attitudes of acceptance through sharing experiences in playback performances. more... http://www.globalplayback.org -- Michael Herman Associates http://www.michaelherman.com ...inviting organizations into action Small Change News Network http://www.smallchangenews.org ...blogging giving flourishing Omidyar Network meets in Chicago, July 29-31st! http://www.moreandmore.us ...people making good things happen * * ========================================================== osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu ------------------------------ To subscribe, unsubscribe, change your options, view the archives of osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu: http://listserv.boisestate.edu/archives/oslist.html To learn about OpenSpaceEmailLists and OSLIST FAQs: http://www.openspaceworld.org/oslist
