Since Michael is thinking of OSonOS '06 dates, so am I. A few people pointed out at OSonOS Halifax, Harrison standing out in my mind, that travel costs to Europe during August tend to be at high, peak rates. Having it just beyond peak vacation time would make it more affordable for folks coming from North America. I can't speak for other continents but I bet August is an expensive travel month from many places.
