Thanks for this interesting conversation! I use the term "facilitator" because it is familiar to clients, but usually explain during the prework that my role in Open Space is different. What I am doing in that role is perhaps less important than what I try to be: grounded, centered, open, accepting, unattached to specific outcomes, confident that participants will do whatever is needed. I love standing back and watching the story unfold!
