  from 18th-21st October 2006, we are offering an international Open Space 
Facilitators training at the Olympic Rowing Facility of Eton College, near 
London, UK. Participants will come from all corners of the world.

  In our workshop, you will learn the essentials of Open Space Facilitation. 
You will understand why and how self-organization works and how the principles 
of Open Space can be applied to management of change in complex systems such as 
communities or organizations. After the training course, you will be able to

    c.. Theory: Change in complex systems 
    d.. Working with the client to prepare an Open Space event. 

  Day 2: Open Space conference (9.00-18.00 hrs) 
    a.. A full day Open Space event on a topic chosen by the participants. 
    b.. Facilitator: Valerie Morris 

  Day 3: How to plan, prepare and conduct an Open Space event (9.00-18.00 hrs) 
    a.. Logistics and preparation 
    b.. A half day Open Space event on Open Space Technology 
    c.. Facilitator: Holger Nauheimer 

  Day 4: Roles and Responsibilities (9.00-16.00 hrs) 
    a.. The role of the Open Space Facilitator 
    b.. Applications of OST 
    c.. Preconditions of OST 
    d.. Action planning and conversion of results 

  In between sessions we will make sure that there is plenty of time for all 
your questions related to successful OS facilitation.

  The Trainers

  Valerie Morris, South Africa, founder of Renaissance Business Associates
