I'd like to think that Harrison's approach is exactly the same as mine
but the statement "without a word" is where I part company. I make a
deliberate point of saying "I am now going back to my room to take a
nap. I hope to return for the evening news."

Further, I do my best to leave in a conspicuous manner such that if
possible they can view me walking toward my room.

When I question participants at conference end, they tell me that
"witnessing” my leaving shocks them into "getting to it" right away
since it is obvious that I won't be assisting.

As Harrison said, "Try it!"
