Hello -- yes, I too unsubscribed from the digest mode because of all the repetition of quoted messages.

I may help to note an easy way to get rid of the excess.

When you hit reply, all the old messages are automatically in your new message. You can highlight and "cut" what you want to include (as I did below), then "highlight all" (command A in Word) and hit delete, then paste back in what you first cut out.

It's a quick way to limit what you include.

Thanks for the reminder to do this.

Hello all:

Due to my current lake of time I have changed to receive messages in the "digest mode". Even so I rarely have the time to open a digest. But when I do I fell disappointed and probably will have to unsubscribe completely.

Before doing that I will repeat something that I have already send to the list some time ago (1 or 2 years ago - and probably with a different set of subscribers to the list).

In messages to lists the netiquette recommends that participants:

1) Quote only the relevant part(s) of the message they are answering to; 2) NEVER include after their signature the full message(s) they are answering to.
