No bulletin board works effectively without some sort of email function. One thing you can do in order to protect yourself from the deluge, or at least separate OS stuff from the rest of your mail, is to create a special mail box just for OSLIST. Not very complicated to do and then the OS mail goes to its own place to be read or deleted at your leisure.
