To be true - how could you know that all the abbreviations hasn't be
cleared on the list one week before you joined the list? It is a never
ending story. I am afraid you have to jump in, learn by continous
reading and ask if you really don't get along.

Sorry – a bit of Friday afternoon frivolity crept in there. It is a
very fair point of course. I think it also applies to concepts that
might be very Western-centric or (in my case) very British. (Indeed –
Friday is a rest day in large parts of the world...)

I would like to post a request… Please clarify any abbreviations you
use, at least the first time you use them so that I (and maybe others
in my situation) can understand them.
I know it is very common in many organizations to use acronyms and
abbreviations, and as this is such a huge and ever-growing system,
please let us know what you are talking about so we can all follow the
conversations.
