Dear Gijs!
Great!
I love the contrast between the "key note speakers" part (one speaker, many listeners in rows) and the Open Space sequence, very nicely shown in the photographs...and I am amazed how clearly and instantaneously I can see when it is Open Space and when not. The remark of the chinese woman is so typical, what she said I have heard many times in Germany (always women!)(typically it makes me cringe considering that people spend 30 or more years in all kinds of settings before they ever speak, what a system!, and then something so simple as Open Space comes along and here, bingo, it transforms that "behavior")...and considering that by my counting, women represented less than 20% in your crowd. Please do send a picture of yourself so that I can add it to your entry in the world map (600 x 400 pixels is optimal, just attach to an email to me). The picture you have on your home page would be perfect, complete with hat (I added your www to your info box in the world map)
Greetings from Berlin

PS: You can also include the Open Space you facilitated in the worldscape
http://www.openspaceworldscape.org/

Presently, 42 facilitators from around the world have recorded 494 events there. When you enter an event in the worldscape a link in your world map entry will be activated to direct people to "your" event.

Dear All,

On March 19th a group of 60 participants (40 chinese, 20 foreigners) were very
happy to have been introduced into Open Space. We had made compromise in time
for some keynote speaker, which resulted in only 2 breakaway sessions.
Nevertheless it was fun, energizing and .... it will be continued.

The closing circle was great: a chinese woman said that she is usually shy, but
she had surprised her self for speaking out so freely.

I want thank the community for support and giving me the opportunity to do this.

Quoting Raffi Aftandelian <ra...@bk.ru>:

dear friends,

know any teenagers (age 15 to 18) from the US who are spacious in spirit and
very capable in crafting an inspiring personal message?

this video contest:

http://globalyouthvillage.org/action/win-a-scholarship-gyv-video-contest/

might be of interest.

The winner receives a scholarship to the camp.

It's being organized by an international youth program that specializes in
cross-cultural understanding. This program was one of the invaluable life
experiences I had as a teenager- much like girl scouts and boy scouts can be.

warmly,
raffi
