Larry I for one would love a separate NING site focused on Brian, especially to hear the Brian stories. That being said, I don't know how Brian would feel because behind his wonderful spark of humor and wisdom, he always seemed very self-effacing and humble in his generosity of sharing. So Larry I trust your judgment and that of others who knew him more. Personally I can say that I would love such a site because he was a trail-blazer in Open Space and getting to know the stories and the person he was seems in keeping with the deeper essence of what we do that takes us to the inner self individually and collectively. Perhaps the site could be part of openspaceworld as a separate blog?

I tried to add to her post with some thoughts of my own and the site said the post had to be "approved" before it was posted. I have not seen that before on that site. Lisa or Artur, can you help with this. I don't want to loose it. I had considered setting up a separate ning site focused on Brian, to gather all the wonderful things being said in one location. What do LIST members thing about that? I'm not sure if every post has to be approved. It was a sad surprise to us all - in fact, he just sent out an Open Space OZ newsletter the evening before. > > I am in such shock right now and very, very sad. Brian has been a dear friend, and mentor for many years and we have been working and playing together since the early 1990s. Most recently we offered Open Space Training here in Melbourne, usually once or twice a year. In fact, we were trying to get dates sorted for this coming March. Brian would often come and have dinner with us here at Bells Beach. We'd share food, wine and stories. We travelled together to WOSonOS events in Vancouver, Goa and San Francisco, and hosted WOsonOS in the now destroyed town of Marysville. Brian went to as many OSonOs events as he could and always kept me up-to-date with all of the OS community shenanigans. I have so many great memories of Brian I don't even know where to start. I will keep you informed of details regarding the funeral. > > Best > > Viv > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > Viv McWaters > Beyond the Edge Pty Ltd > PO Box 665 Torquay 3228 > Australia > 0417 135 406 > > Facilitator Training: www.facilitatingwithconfidence.com > My Blog: www.vivmcwaters.com.au > My Podcasts: www.winkipod.com.au > Skype: vivmcwaters > Twitter: vivmcw > > * > * > ========================================================== > osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu > ------------------------------ > To subscribe, unsubscribe, change your options, > view the archives of osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu: > http://listserv.boisestate.edu/archives/oslist.html > > To learn about OpenSpaceEmailLists and OSLIST FAQs: > http://www.openspaceworld.org/oslist > -- Jo Toepfer, boscop eg Dolziger Str. 40, 10247 Berlin ++49-30-42018000 www.boscop.org * * ========================================================== osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu ------------------------------ To subscribe, unsubscribe, change your options, view the archives of osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu: http://listserv.boisestate.edu/archives/oslist.html To learn about OpenSpaceEmailLists and OSLIST FAQs: http://www.openspaceworld.org/oslist * * ========================================================== osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu ------------------------------ To subscribe, unsubscribe, change your options, view the archives of osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu: http://listserv.boisestate.edu/archives/oslist.html To learn about OpenSpaceEmailLists and OSLIST FAQs: http://www.openspaceworld.org/oslist * * ========================================================== osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu ------------------------------ To subscribe, unsubscribe, change your options, view the archives of osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu: http://listserv.boisestate.edu/archives/oslist.html To learn about OpenSpaceEmailLists and OSLIST FAQs: http://www.openspaceworld.org/oslist
