artur, greetings! I just wanted to express thanks for stepping - as i see it- into the center of the circle and sharing more extended personal reflections on the event. I think we all benefit when we can hear what is of benefit and what is difficult for one or more people in our funny community. It encourages others to do the same.
There is much you wrote that I'd love to respond to in a face-to-face conversation; an electronic discussion list, i think, can only meaningfully hold and convey so much difficult emotions. And much of what you brought up i think cuts to the core of things in our community that we are still trying to address, and I imagine we will never address to everyone's satisfaction, especially considering how diverse and geographically dispersed we are...and especially considering our internal shared global community leadership and management system : ) also, i really resonate with harrison's (erm, re-re-re-re-re-told) story of the precious few nanoseconds spent self-organizing the osonos by the sea. it's such a valuable reminder. Looking forward to eventually meeting you in person! I bow to the berlin wosonos team (really amazed 170+ people attended!) and good luck to the chileans (and londoners!)! appreciatively, Raffi p.s. moscow 2014? and following michael herman's example we also won't reserve a room??? : ) * * ========================================================== osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu ------------------------------ To subscribe, unsubscribe, change your options, view the archives of osl...@listserv.boisestate.edu: http://listserv.boisestate.edu/archives/oslist.html To learn about OpenSpaceEmailLists and OSLIST FAQs: http://www.openspaceworld.org/oslist
