Yes, it is what the students and the teachers need so much. And we need it in all levels of education from kindergardens up to universities.
I remember one experience here in Iceland where a school for 6-12 years old used an open space like formatt for a year, it sopped with the worry of the formal agenda (the objectives of reading, writing, math and such) and he purpuse dilemma of the teachers. But this was a public school sesitive to the winds in the teachers union and the local political administration. It was an intersting experiment and I would like to look more into it. /Kári On Wednesday, 11 September 2013, Paul Nunesdea wrote: > Dear List, > > I am just departing from Zurich ETH (ranked 12 in top 100 universities) > where I have made a presentation (The Perfect Learning Experience) in one > of their Summer Schools*.* > > I have designed my session in order to interact with the participants from > all parts of the world and I was really surprised to see how the 'spirit' > of OST was so evidently present. > > Just at the start of my presentation well before I have started to talk > about OST I asked this question - what do you think is the number one > expectation of students in the XXI century classroom?
