I would give a nice juicy and dense lecture about self-organization, action,
management and leadership for 15 minutes and then give everyone a post it note
and have them, if they choose, write on their post it note the topic of
something they want to discuss further instead of asking question of the
lecturer.

Have people stand up and read out their topic and then invite people to listen
carefully and choose one of the topics to join. Let the small groups go for
about 20 minutes and then bring them back and lecture some more on what just
happened, why twenty minutes isn’t long enough for juicy conversations (let
alone strategy and action) and why it’s important to make a record of these
discussions in some kind of collected book of proceedings so the learning can
be shared.

Then invite them to the Open Space.

That should take an hour.
