If you use paid live update, it should be probably few days max
( live update users or developers may know better ),
as there are provided the differential updates.
But there may be issues, as it is relatively new feature.
If not, that the age of available data is approximately 1-3 days older
than the timestamp of map datafiles.
http://download.osmand.net/rawindexes/
that are generateted typically on monthly basis.
Sometimes, maps updates are reportedly available within the OSMAnd+ download
sooner, than they are uploaded to the above location.
Currently I can see that most maps have data May 1, 2017,
so the updates will be probably ready soon.
Note that the map generation is very demanding process wrt computation
resources.

I edited a bunch of trail and road names in open street using chrome
and my PC
The edits I made are showing up in open street maps on the PC/Chrome
browser
The edits do not show up in OsmAnd+
I even deleted the map for my state and re-downloaded it thinking that
my tablet was pulling up old data
I am viewing the OsmAnd vector map, in OsmAnd+
How long does it take before Open Street Map edits show up in OsmAnd+?
